Gilda’s Club offers ongoing peer-based support groups facilitated by licensed mental health professionals for those with a diagnosis, their family and friends, survivors who are post treatment, and members who are bereaved. Support groups provide a weekly opportunity for shared exploration of the many emotions and challenges of living with or being impacted by cancer.
Gilda's Club offers bi-weekly peer-based support groups facilitated by licensed mental health professionals for those with a cancer diagnosis at off-site locations. These groups are free and open to the public, you do not need to be a Gilda's Club member to attend.

Networking groups provide opportunities for members to discuss common issues and experiences, exchange practical advice, and problem solve. Non-members are welcome to attend networking groups. We currently offer a men’s networking group twice a month and a gay men’s networking group once a month.
Educational lectures from experts and specialists empower attendees to acquire new skills, tools, information, and techniques for learning how to live with cancer. Cancer education may address diagnoses, treatments, side-effects and survivor challenges, but can also address topics like insurance, finances, legal issues, nutrition and more. Educational lectures are free and open to the public.
Workshops include a broad range of body-movement, stress reduction, and creative expression classes to increase members’ skills and their sense of control and well-being. Workshops are open to members only. Typical workshops include yoga, watercolor classes, book club, mediation, and writing classes.
Social activities are among the most popular offerings at Gilda’s Club. From our holiday party to game nights to our annual Halloween costume party, these events are meant to build a sense of community and belonging for all our members.
