Support Groups

Our peer-based groups, facilitated by licensed mental health professionals, provide an opportunity for participants to meet with others and share firsthand experiences. Even though many people receive support from friends and family, it can be very beneficial to receive support from those going through similar experiences. Research shows that joining a support group improves quality of life. At Gilda’s Club, we offer a range of support groups to meet specific needs of our community, including individuals who are:

  • diagnosed with cancer
  • caring for someone who has cancer (friends and family)
  • bereft
  • children and teens impacted by cancer

Our support groups are open to men and women with all types of cancer including but not limited to:

  • brain
  • breast
  • gastrointestinal – including stomach, colorectal, etc.
  • head & neck
  • leukemia & lymphoma
  • lung
  • melanoma & skin
  • multiple myeloma
  • ovarian & gynecological
  • pancreatic
  • prostate
  • sarcoma
