Our Children, Teen and Family Program is designed especially for kids and teens living with cancer themselves or who have cancer in the family and is built upon the five pillars of our program model: support, healthy lifestyle, education, social opportunities, and information and referral.
Group support provides you opportunities for connection with others who are sharing a similar experience and the comfort in knowing you are not alone.
These classes and workshops are led by professionals and skilled volunteers and include a broad range of body-movement, stress reduction, and creative expression classes to increase members’ skills and their sense of control and well-being and are open to members only.
Educational workshops provide you opportunities to acquire new skills, information, and techniques to learn how to live with cancer.
Social activities are among the most popular offerings at Gilda's Club. From our holiday parties to monthly themed social events, these activities are meant to build a sense of community and belonging for all our members.
Gilda’s Club is a hub for cancer-related information and referrals in South Florida. We are deeply connected to our local community, which offers a robust array of cancer resources.
