Now more than ever, South Florida's cancer community needs your support.
In these uncertain economic times, the burden of a cancer diagnosis can feel heavier than ever. At Gilda's Club South Florida, we are dedicated to ensuring that individuals and families impacted by cancer have access to the support they need, entirely free of charge.
Named in honor of the legendary comedian Gilda Radner, our organization is more than just a resource center; it's a community. Through support groups, educational workshops, wellness activities, and community programs, participants find comfort, connection, and encouragement during some of life's most difficult moments. Every program is designed to help individuals and families navigate the challenges of cancer while building resilience, hope, and meaningful relationships.
Your generosity makes this possible. Every donation goes directly toward providing these vital services at no cost to our members. With your help, we can continue to honor Gilda Radner's legacy and ensure that every person facing cancer has a place to turn for support.
Everything we do is built upon five essential pillars, designed to care for our members:
Because of your kindness over the past year, Gilda's Club South Florida has served nearly 1,400 individuals, resulting in over 6,700 total visits to our programs and events. These aren't just statistics; they are moments of connection, meals shared, and burdens lifted.
Now, we invite you to join us for the Gilda's Give-A-Thon! We have set a goal to raise $15,000 over the next few weeks to support Gilda's Club and keep our programs free. To this day, Gilda's Club must raise every dollar we spend. It truly takes an entire community to provide free emotional, cancer, and grief support to the children and adults who walk through our doors.
By giving as generously as you can, you are protecting that vision for current members and the many families who will need us in the future. With your commitment, we can continue to turn passion into action.
